Coat a 9x5-inch loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray, and lightly dust with flour; set aside.
Put the flour in a bowl and make a well in the center. Add the melted butter and root beer; stir just until moistened.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan; do not spread the dough flat. It should be rustic looking. Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool in pan 5 minutes on wire rack; remove from pan, and let cool completely on wire rack.
